Spyglass Software License

  1. Grant. Spyglass is proprietary software. Subject to these terms, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Spyglass for engineering and testing activities within your organization.
  2. Restrictions. Do not redistribute, sublicense, rent, or provide Spyglass to third parties; do not reverse engineer except where law permits; do not remove notices or license enforcement.
  3. Ownership. Spyglass and all associated intellectual property remain the property of the licensor. No rights are granted except those stated here.
  4. Data. Spyglass processes bus traffic locally. It transmits no telemetry, captures, or usage data off the machine it runs on.
  5. Warranty & liability. Spyglass is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the licensor is not liable for damages arising from its use — including use on vehicle networks.
  6. Termination. This license terminates automatically on breach of these terms. On termination, uninstall all copies.

Licensing model

Spyglass is licensed as a per-seat subscription. Seats float: any machine can claim one from your pool, and releasing it hands the seat back. One active seat = one active device, so your subscription quantity is your device cap.

Monthly seat

Full GUI and all modules, plus the Automation Server and CLI sequencer. Cancel any time; seats stay claimable until the period ends.

Same entitlements on a twelve-month term. Adjust seat quantity at any time — capacity tracks the change on the next billing event.

Download and install first, then subscribe — your license file is sent to the billing email you give at checkout. Drop it in the install directory to claim a seat.
